Vintage Hunting

The rifle is a Savage 99. These were actually a pretty popular hunting rifle in the first half of the 20th century even though the Winchesters are more remembered. The main draw being that you could get them chambered in more powerful spitzer cartridges like the 300 Savage. Although this particular one is chambered in 30-30 oddly enough. But it does make finding ammo for it today easy. The Buffalo plaid is a bit of a trope at this point but it is classic. Tried to get a shot of the Buckhorn sights to give you an idea of how they look.
